Find Your Piano Teacher: Private Lessons With Active Artists

Please Note: ALL my services, from children to professionals, are CUSTOM: we will determine the program with the student during the first lessons and adapt for the needs and goals of the student.

Maude is the singer, keyboardist and manager of the melodic death metal band Sanguine Glacialis, growler in Growlers Choir, voice actress and administrative assistant in The Monster Factory, and violinist in the band Ulfhednar.

She has a diploma of college study in classical piano interpretation from Cégep Saint-Laurent and a bachelor’s degree in music teaching from UQAM.

She collaborated with many bands such as Evocatus, Nebelhaus, Cries of Blood, Hands of Despair, Norskald, Nachtmuse and Terminal Curse. Maude has more than 20 albums and singles under her belt.

As a vocal actress, Maude dubbed monsters and victims in video games such as South of Midnight (Compulsion Games), Baldur’s Gates 3 (Larian), Dead by Daylight (Behaviour Interactive) twice, Fortnite – The Walking Dead (Epic Games), Project TL (NCsoft), Dreams – Ancien Dangers: A Bat’s Tale (Media Molecule), and many more.

Preparing for a university piano exam? Looking to start writing your own songs on the piano? Learning music theory means you walk away with. understanding of chord progressions, harmony, and the basics of writing music. Combine your piano lessons with music theory or take straight theory classes.

Each music teacher at EXPRESS is an active artist, currently performing and making music. No two coaches are alike- each specializing in a different style of music, aesthetic, songwriting style, and with years of stage experience. Whether you are looking to play popular songs to relax after a stressful day of work, or you want to hone your skills to amplify your songwriting and performance skills: Our lessons are for you! Piano students shape their lessons- our artist teachers will craft lessons that serve your goals. Learn music theory, how to read music, how to play piano lead-sheet style, or work on mastering technical aspects of piano like finger dexterity through fast scales and improvising skills with the study of chords.

Our piano lessons in Montreal are open to ages 4+. Young students may find music awareness group classes better serve them, however we are happy to do a first lesson with your child to see if private lessons are a good fit. We also welcome adult students for piano lessons!
