Tracy Pham is a R&B & Jazz singer-songwriter and pianist based in Toronto. She combines her Vietnamese identity, vulnerable lyrics, and inspirations from Nina Simone, Cleo Sol, D’Angelo, and Tom Misch, to create her blend of jazz and R&B/soul.
In 2023, Tracy was accepted into the prestigious Honey Jam artist development program that has supported emerging Canadian women artists for the past 28 years. Notable alumni include Nelly Furtado, Melanie Fiona, Jully Black, and Haviah Mighty. The program culminated in a final concert at TD Music Hall where Tracy performed her original song “In My Mind” in front of 500 guests and won the Yamaha Make Waves $2500 prize.
After years of being a hidden musician, her goal is to help others discover their voice and pursue their passions through teaching and mentoring.
Tracy Pham creates a warm and encouraging environment where kids can explore their voices, build confidence, and discover the joy of singing. As a passionate vocalist and experienced performer, Tracy brings patience, creativity, and a playful spirit to every lesson. She tailors her approach to each child’s needs, helping them develop strong vocal technique while keeping music fun and engaging. Many recording artists have naturally good voices, but when something goes awry or they feel tension they have never experienced before- how do you sing through that? Tracy offers vocal coaching specifically for artists who want to expand their range, tune op their technique for an international tour, or find technically easy ways to sing with different aesthetics. These lessons are highly customizable and many artists will come regularly for 1-3 months, and then come for more occasional tune-up classes.
Vocal coaching with Tracy will be grounded in her R&B/Jazz background. As a singer/songwriter, Tracy can help you to find. your authentic sound and begin to write your own songs. Jordanne is great teacher! For the first time I contact her, I am very pleased. She took the time to truly understand what I needed. And, the first time I met her she made me feel so comfortable that I felt at ease to express myself. She made me do some exercise to see what my blocage was.
